How it works

A marketplace with a memory.

Think of Accepted as the middle party for every offer — it routes messages between buyer and seller, holds them to the terms they agreed to, and timestamps the yes so neither side has to argue about what was said. Somewhere between a marketplace and an e-sign: classifieds with a record.

  1. Step 01
    List

Seller posts the item, service, or job on Accepted — what it is, when and where, and the price they want.

  2. Step 02
    Offer

A buyer sends an offer — list price, a counter, or a custom window. Accepted brokers it and pings the seller by SMS.

  3. Step 03
    Accept

Seller taps accept. Buyer gets a verified SMS from Accepted with the exact same terms — both sides see the same deal.

  4. Step 04
    Record

The deal is timestamped and filed in one signed thread. If anyone disputes it later, the record is already signed — it's e-sign for a handshake.

Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are the wild west — ghosted pickups, door-step lowballs, and price revisions nobody remembers agreeing to. Accepted is the civilized version: same kind of deal, but with a record that holds up.

How it feels

Both sides notified the moment it’s locked.

One offer, two signed messages — buyer and seller see the deal close at the exact same moment, with the same details, from the same verified sender.

Mission

Protect the deal.

Online marketplaces run on chaos: DMs, screenshots, last-minute ghosts, and a dozen low-ball offers buried in a notifications feed. Sellers lose buyers; buyers lose hot finds. Nobody has a clean record when the price changes or the pickup falls through.

Accepted turns every deal into one signed thread — every offer, every counter, the moment it’s accepted, and the timestamped log both sides can fall back on when memories disagree.

  • Verified sender identity on every accepted offer
  • One thread per deal — buyer, seller, all in sync
  • Notifications are opt-in, controllable any time
  • Cancellations and price changes need two-sided confirm
  • Timestamped log of every offer, counter, and accept
